How you're regulating

Today's blended read

Wired but tired — capable, with the engine idling high.

Your measured signal (low HRV) and your self-report (“wired but tired”) agree this morning, and your journal gives the why — a big week ahead, felt in the body more than the mind. This is anticipation load, not distress. The same move that helps your nervous system today helps your mood: down-regulate before you ramp up.

Journal
Today, 8:12am

Woke before the alarm, mind already moving. Big week ahead and I can feel it in my chest more than my head. Slept lightly. Not anxious exactly — more like the engine idling high. Grateful the hot flashes have settled though; that alone has given me back my nights.

Soma reads themes (not just sentiment) and links them to the day's biometrics — here, “anticipation” alongside low HRV.
